Disc Label Art Specs |
Additional Electronic File Requirements
- Electronic files should use the same General Design Specifications
as listed at the begining of this document.
- Colors are to be specified in the file. If spot colors are being used
on a disc face, graphics must represent the spot color specified. If process
colors are being used on a disc face, graphics must represent the Cyan,
Magenta, Yellow and Black values.
- Imported bitmapped graphics (i.e., a scanned photograph) must be specified
at a maximum screen ruling of 100 lines per inch. Dot shape should be elliptical.
- To ensure an accurate recreation of your artwork, please include all
original imported graphics used in the composite file.
- A hard copy (laser print) must be included with the label order. (This
is needed for the purpose of comparison between your original and what
we see on our monitor to make sure that nothing has changed.)
If you plan to have us make changes to your disc label art in the
future (i.e., date, serial number, or text changes), it will reduce the
leadtime required to make changes if you not only provide us with film
positives to our specifications for your first order, but also provide
an electronic file for us to work with in the future.
